Presbyterian church

The Chapel, which seats 125 persons, provides a quiet, reflective place for meditation and small religious services for members of this large downtown ministry.

 

MBB completed the design of the church including the adjacent Christian Education Building located on 8th avenue between Madison Street and Spring Street. It contains interior chapel memorial panels.

 

 

U.S. Coast Guard
Cape Disappointment, Ilwaco, WA

MBB provided construction documents and cost estimates for six buildings, including new kitchen and dining facilities, an administration and training building with computer training classrooms, and an addition to the boat maintenance facility with a diesel engine overhaul shop. MBB also oversaw the rehab/expansion of the administration and berthing facility, landscaping, soils investigation, re-roofing of three (3) buildings, and the update of the existing facilities to meet the National Life Safety and Fire Codes.

This project was part of an Indefinite Delivery – Indefinite Quantity contract under which Mandeville Berge Box provided the Rehab/Expansion of the Life Boat School and Maintenance Shops at the U.S. Coast Guard’s station Cape Disappointment in Ilwaco, Washington. During the course of this project, MBB performed a site inspection of existing conditions, and developed concept plans and preliminary cost estimates.  Cost for Entire Project:   $3,420,000.

Yukatat (YAK) ATCBI-6
Yakutat, AK

The project involved the construction of an ATCBI-6 beacon radar tower with emergency generator and equipment building located at the base of the tower’s footprint. The ATCBI-6 tower is 157 feet tall and supports a beacon antenna enclosed by a Radome. An interior stairway, an exterior-mounted elevator, an equipment shelter located on the mezzanine level, and a chain hoist mounted under the radar main deck are also be part of the makeup of the ATCBI-6.
